Hole # 1 - Tombstone Alley - Par 4![]()
A tee shot to the middle of this right-to-left fairway is favorable. An aggressive tee shot straight over the pond will allow an approach shot out of the rough over two large bunkers to a receptive elevated green. Right is deadly.
Hole # 2 - Double Trouble - Par 5![]()
Play this hole as a three shot hole. Favor the right side of the fairway on your drive. You'll find out of bounds on the left side all the way to the pond. Your second shot should be center to left in fairway to avoid the pond. This will leave your approach shot to the green in a position to take the right front bunker out of play.
Hole # 3 - All Mound Joy - Par 3
![]()
Pay attention to the wind above the trees. Short and to the right is trouble. Bail out to the left, the mounds will act as a backstop for the long and left tee shots.
Hole # 4 - Straight & Narrow - Par 5
![]()
One of the straightest holes on the course, you can do well here if you keep out of trouble. Stay between the stone wall on the left and the row of trees on the right. A solid straight hitter can be on or very near the green in two if you stay out of the front left and right bunkers. Possible birdie hole.
Hole # 5 - Trouble Yellow - Par 4
![]()
Two good shots are required to get to the green. Trouble left and out of bounds along the right make the tee shot critical. Your second shot is all carry to a large double tier amphitheater green. Stay center to left, right will find front sand bunker or "yellow trouble". Pay attention to pin placement, upper tier is in the rear.
Hole # 6 - Precision Decision - Par 3
![]()
Club selection is critical. Looks pretty but can turn ugly. Water surrounds front and right of the hole with right sand bunker tucked between water's edge and green. A precise tee shot to the green is a must. Long and left will find one of woodpecker alley's dilemmas.
Hole # 7 - Woodpecker Alley - Par 4
![]()
A dogleg right with trees and out of bounds on both sides can make this hole one of the most intimidating on the course. Middle of the fairway off the tee is where you want to be or sand traps left and right will capture the long ball. A straight approach to the green is a must, due to the sand bunker on the right or the very large tree on the left. A long ball to the green will find the bunker in the back of the green.
Hole # 8 - Rough Galore - Par 4
![]()
A slight right-to-left curve of the fairway sets up your shot. Hookers beware of out of bounds on the left and passing motorists. A tee shot uphill to the right in the fairway will keep you out of the rough. An aggressive approach shot to one of the most challenging greens, that is protected by front sand bunkers on both the left and the right, is a must. Pin placement is critical when finishing due to the severe sloping green.
An uphill tee shot with a pond in front and out of bounds left and long. A spruce tree on the right and a sand bunker long right create an abundance of trouble surrounding this hole. Take dead aim and a birdie opportunity may be possible with an accurate tee shot.
Hole # 10 - Downgrade Destination - Par 5
This hole doglegs left with 120-foot drop from to green. Favor the right side of the fairway on your tee shot to stay clear of pond on left. The green is reachable in two if you clear the front left and right bunkers. Don't be long or you will be out of bounds. Possible birdie hole, but a lay up may be wise.
Hole # 11- Crevice Challenge - Par 4
Aim tee shot at large boulder left edge of fairway to avoid wetlands and bunker on right. A 200-yard tee shot will set you up for clear second shot. Pitch second shot over crevice onto green. Short will find the crevice, and long will end up on the steep bank behind the green. Study putt carefully, it may be an optical illusion.
Hole # 12 - Triple Trouble - Par 3
An aggressive tee shot is necessary to clear wetlands, pond, and bunker in front of green. No bail-out area is available with pond on left and wetlands on right. Long will find you below the green, having to chip over a large mound. Putting is essential due to the undulating green.
Hole # 13 - Boulder Alley - Par 4
A straight left-of-fairway tee shot will set you up for a favorable second shot, while right may find lumber. Keep your second shot in the center of the green. Left drops off towards woods, and right beyond the white fence is out of bounds. Beware of right front and back bunkers.
Hole # 14 - Bountifully Beautiful - Par 4
Standing on tee you will see beauty of the green, sand bunkers, covered bridge, stone #12 tee complex, the fairway boulders on #11, and #10 wood-chipped rough all surrounded by a hillside background. Play your tee shot to the left side of the fairway avoiding left tree line; right will find wetlands. An accurate second shot will keep you out of water and bunker on left, front bunker and wetlands on right. Putt alignment is favorable.
Hole # 15 - Environmentally Intimidating - Par 4
A strong straight tee shot aimed at far left fairway bunker will keep you out of wetlands front, left and right of the hole. An aggressive second shot is recommended due to the uphill narrow green. Short may land on false front and roll back off green, long will find one of the two grassy hollows behind the green.
Hole # 16 - Heightened Anxiety - Par 4
Long and straight is best on your tee shot. Club up on your second shot due to heightened green with a false front. Sloping green from back to front may find, from above the pin, an overly aggressive putt off the green. When below the pin you need a very solid putt to avoid another putt from a similar position.
Hole # 17 - Space Shot - Par 3
From tee to green there is a 70 to 80-foot drop in elevation with very little approach area. Proper club selection is a must. Don't let distance interfere with your judgment. Your tee shot should be hit high to land straight down onto the green, decreasing forward roll and remaining on green. Short long will find one of the rear bunkers and overly long will be in the wetlands.
Hole # 18 - Tri-tier Aggression - Par 4
An aggressive straight tee shot towards the upper sand bunker will keep you out of the deep valley on the left and the pond on the right. Long is not advisable. The green is set into the hillside with three tiers. Stay center-right on second shot to prevent going left into the lower bunkers. Pay attention to which tier pin is located, it will increase your birdie chance.
